Course Info

Description: this course presents the fundamental features of MATLAB and Simulink useful for addressing a variety of modeling problems. The problem of modeling and the simulation approach adopted by Simulink is presented in the context of discrete and continuous systems.

The objective of this course is to provide the students a fundamental knowledge on MATLAB and a working knowledge of Simulink allowing them to model and simulate problems.

Topics:

  • Basics of matrix and data manipulation
  • Modeling problem
  • Simulink for discrete and continuos problems
  • Decomposition on models in Sub-Systems

Grading: Students will be graded on participation and final written exam.
